The scam formerly known as Bid and Buy (Discount Retail Stores) is up to their old scam again for the holidays!!
They auction off their crap online through Hibid auctions website. They auction off the items without implementing the "reserve" feature on Hibid........They offset that by adding in the fine print that "some items have a reserve".
You don't know which items have a reserve, and which ones don't. So, you bid on the item, win the item, go to pickup the item, and they tell you that you didn't meet their invisible reserve. They will then offer to let you buy that item for 5X the price of your winning bid.
These guys were a joke when they were a brick and mortar store, then they tried scamming people through Hibid auctions, now they changed their business name in another attempt to scam people during the holidays.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to do your Christmas shopping. These guys are a joke
